Preppy is a style which is one-of-a-kind. It is usually worn in the European countries essp in England and France. In those countries, most of the schools there requires students there to wear school uniform. The schol uniform is usually mini plain/plaid skirts, inner garment/blouse with sweaters or blazers. These are the typical dress-codes for school in those countries. Along with that, the dress code include knee-length socks and ankle-height sneakers. Anyways, the style Preppy has been inspired by these schools' dress codes. Celebrities like Dakota Fanning has the perfect idea for the style Preppy.

The preppy style is awesome style for people who'd looove to go for style which has touches of sophistication, sweet and fun. Sometimes, in Preppy outfits, a touch of Vintage can be seen too.
But, Preppy doesn't compulsorily needs a blazer or skirts. You can totally rock out the Preppy style without skirts or blazers.
